Chips and Salsa? Yes please!

Looking for a clean, home made alternative to the traditional chips and salsa?! You have come to the right place then! Following the 21 day fix meal plan I have been very cautious of what I eat and to make sure I'm aware of the ingredients I am putting into my body! If you ever read a salsa label you would be surprised to see sugar or high fructose corn syrup in it! Really?! In salsa! So, inspired by my uncles home made salsa I started thinking up of a good recipe with the chips to compliment it!  Home made tortilla chips and salsa. What you'll need: 💠Corn Tortillas  💠Cooking Spray 💠Sea Salt 💠3 Tomatoes  💠1 Bunch of Cilantro  💠2 White Onions  💠4-5 Jalepenos (taste preference) 💠3 Garlic Cloves  💠1 Green Pepper To make the chips: Take corn tortillas and slice into 6ths. Here comes QuadZilla! Body beast!

My husband just started Body Beast ! I have really enjoyed listening to Sagi's one liners! They crack me up! My favorite so far though: "Here comes QuadZilla" 😂 My husband is already seeing awesome results from this program! The definition is amazing and he is really loving it! Just goes to show, you really can see amazing results and bulk up from a home workout! Lucky for him, he gets to eat! A lot! But as Sagi says "it's can't be all brownie sundaes and pizzas" lol but still a ton of food. I have calorie envy that's for sure! I plan to do this program soon too! Give me all the pumpkin!

Its officially fall so we are surrounded in pumpkin everything! All delicious stuff that sometimes is near impossible to fight the temptations! A Little Pumpkin Spice Humor Well, that was until now! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you pumpkin pie shakeology !  I feel I should point out, I'm not a huge "spice" fan. So, I leave out the pumpkin spice but, feel free to add it for your own personal taste! Make it your own folks! Let me know how you make it! Pumpkin pie shakeology: 💠 1 scoop vanilla shakeology  💠 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk  💠 1/4-1/2 cup canned pumpkin  💠 sprinkle with cinnamon 💠 ice to taste  Combine all ingredients in a blender, blend and enjoy!  Let me know what you think! Clean Pumpkin Pie Muffins/cupcakes!

I know you've seen it on Pinterest and wanted to give them a try. Or, maybe that's just me?! None the less with fall coming that means the fabulous fall snacks and cooking come with it! Only problem is, it can be easy to fall off track and eat the wrong stuff this time of year! So, I found a recipe to get a grasp on how to make them. Once I did, I took a look at the ingredients list and found clean substitutes for some of it.  Is this perfectly clean? No. It's cleaner (is that a word?) though!  So, I guess we shall call them the "mostly clean pumpkin pie muffins"! If you make them totally clean (which you can, I tell you how) it will take some prep 48 hours before actually making them!  These are so good and pretty addictive so beware!! They kind of have a custard like texture to them which I loved! Give them a try and see what you think!  What you'll need:  💠1 can of pumpkin (clean option: use a real pumpkin pie pumpkin) 💠 1 ca

It's Chili Time!!

It's that time of year again!! Back to school, busy days, fall and football. What is the perfect meal?! Chili of course!! I went ahead and have you the 21 day fix conversions as well! Remember though, if you add anything else to it (other than seasonings) you may have to add a container color ;) What are you making for dinner tonight? How about some fabulous turkey chili?! Easy crock pot meal for busy days and the perfect football meal! 21 day fix approved!  Easy recipe:  1 package if extra ground turkey 2 cans pinto beans 2 cans red beans  1 can corn  2 cans diced tomatoes  1 chopped onion 1 chopped green pepper 1 chopped tomato  1/4 tsp chili powder  Shredded cheese (optional. Blue container) Combine all ingredients in the crock pot and cook on high for 6-8 hours! Easy peasy and delicious!! Season around for personal taste and let me know how you like it!
