Fabulous milkshake and raw juice recipe!

Image
I love juicing! I will admit, using the juicer is a pain to clean though! Since you have to drink raw juice within 24 hours of making it, you can't make up a weeks worth of juice and save it. It really is a make your juice each time you want it. So that juicer gets a lot of work and cleaning! Which is why I generally only juice once a day! Between juicing and shakeology , I'm pretty sure my nutrient intake has never been better! I can feel the difference too!  Anyway, onto the recipes!  I don't have a name for it. Breakfast cocktail?! Lol I don't know, none the less it's tasty! Haha Next up we have the fabulous milkshake recipe! By milkshake you know of course I am talking about shakeology ! I love shakeology for it's Convenience, taste and superfood health benefits! At night time, I tend to gravitate towards ice cream. Having shakeology on hand helps stop me from reaching in the freezer! So, I make my own milkshake at night and it defin

Fried "rice" recipe!

Image
What?! A gluten free, vegan/vegetarian, clean low calorie fried rice?! That exists? Yep! But, not how you expected it! Well, that cauliflower bandit has struck again! Trust me, I put up a fight about using cauliflower as a substitute too. I get the hesitation but, believe me! This stuff is a magical vegetable that can be turned into so many favorite foods!  I have used it to substitute mashed potatoes (amazing), I have used it to make a pizza crust (again, amazing), just roasted to make a fabulous snack. Now, I'm using it as a rice substitute!  We love hibachi fried rice. The things is, fried rice doesn't love my waistline 😳 so, it was time to find a substitute!  I introduce you to fried Riced cauliflower! Just as a comparison here: Serving of regular fried rice: 330 calories Fried Riced cauliflower: 150! (Less if you don't use egg) In case you don't want to take my word for it, my husband and 4 year old LOVED it! The same man who won&

Coach Ashley? What does that even mean?!

Image
You've seen me (perhaps obnoxiously) refer to myself as a coach or make reference to coaching. I'm sure you've thought to yourself "what the heck does that even mean?" So, let me explain a little bit to you about it. 💠I'll start with what is actually the smallest aspect of it. Sales. Yep, I do sell this stuff. Team beachbody products, I sell them all. From workouts, to supplements, to equipment, to skin care, to clothes. Why is that the smallest aspect? Because it is! My job as a coach isn't to sell you something and you never hear from me again. My job is to help match you to the best possible products for your needs, goals, and wants. That's just where this job starts. What happens after the sale goes down? 💠 That is where the "coaching" comes to play! Like I said, I don't just sell you something. I am there every step, every pound, every inch and improvement along the way. I keep in constant communication whether

Awesome clean nacho recipe! Football season is around the corner!

Image
Football season means foot ball parties and lots of party snacks. Which usually means very high calorie, high fat, highly processed foods. I cannot deny that they are indeed tasty lol but, I can tell you how much a curveball it will throw into your progress! So, I present to you an amazing tasting and clean nacho recipe! What you'll need: ✴️ can of pinto beans ✴️ can of black beans ✴️ can of mild ro tel  ✴️ part skim Monterey Jack cheese  ✴️ corn tortillas  First step- turn those tortillas into tortilla chips! Extra work? Yes but cleaner and much cheaper than buying a bag of tortilla chips. So, you take the tortillas and slice them into fourths (using a pizza cutter is easiest). Put in a pan and cook in the oven under the broiler until crisp. Sprinkle with some sea salt if desired. While those are crispy drain the pinto beans and cook them ib a sauce pan on medium heat. As they cook mash them up with a fork and add in a little but of shredded cheese.

How to get kids to eat healthy!

Image
It's no secret that for the longest time we had an extremely picky eater on our hands. Savannah wouldn't just not want fruits and veggies, she actually gagged (a few times to the point of throwing up) when she ate them. We were obviously frustrated with her eating and we weren't  really sure what to do to change her habits.  ✴️First thing we had to do to set her on the right path was to examine our own eating habits. Which, shamefully weren't any better. How could we expect to teach her that she needed healthy foods when she didn't see us eating them also? So that was the first step we took, change our habits too! We made heathy clean foods, sat at the table as a family and showed her that we also ate these foods. Not because we "had" to but because we enjoyed them! ✴️ Second thing we did was cleaned out the our kitchen! You don't keep junk in the house it isn't an option to eat it! Out with the "kids" foods, out with t
