Are you counting calories or chemicals?

There is a misconception about what's healthy and what isn't. In general, people take low calories to mean healthy. Low fat is healthy. Low carb is healthy.

That is where the misconception lies. Low calorie/fat/carb/sugar etc does NOT equal healthy. In fact, most of your low calorie etc foods contain dangerous chemicals.

Did you know that artificial sweetner was discovered during pesticide making?

Did you know a popular weight loss shake contains zinc oxide? Yes, the same stuff in diaper creams.

Did you know that imitation vanilla flavoring comes from paper mill waste?

Did you also know dangerous chemicals such MSG can be hidden under other names such as "other natural flavors", dextrose, corn syrup, modified food startch, or anything being described as pasteurized or enriched?

No?

I challenge you to take a look at the foods on your pantry, freezer and fridge. Can you pronounce all the ingredients in it? If you can't pronounce it, you shouldn't be eating it.

You might be surprised how many chemicals and very little food actually make up your diet.
