Transformation Tuesday

This Monday marked 30 days since my challenge group started. Everyone in the group is either following the T25 fitness program or the new P90X3 fitness program. Everyone has been following the clean eating plans.

Yesterday I asked my challengers to post their before and after 30 days photos. I was so blown away and incredibly proud at the same time with their results. With their permission, I hope to feature each challenger for transformation Tuesday. 

This week, an adorable couple following the T25 fitness program. While they have had some amazing results, it has not been an easy journey. There have been bumps and struggles along the way. Even through those bumps they have stayed positive the entire time. They are proof that it's ok to struggle as long as you stay dedicated to making the changes and keep trying to better yourself pays off!


What has been the easiest adjustment for you?
-Getting our T25 workouts in. We get up at 5:20AM to have our workout done by 6:00AM before our boys wake up. We feel great afterwards and it helps us make better eating choices because we don't want to ruin all that hard work. 


Do you all keep each other motivated?
-Definitely!  We see each other everyday so we are noticing smaller differences that some of our family and friends. And our 5:30 workouts are some of our only alone time with two little ones. We laugh at each other (especially with the AB video) and have fun. 



Have noticed any improvements in your lives since starting the challenge?
-We are setting goals together and seeing them through. In years past, New Years resolutions were forgotten about within a couple of weeks but we are focused in where we want to be in life and we help each other stay on track. 



How do you all feel since starting this journey?
-We both feel really great!  We have more energy overall and our bodies feel better. We aren't weighed down by what we eat all the time (pizza, burritos and pasta were our go to meals). 



Has it been easy?
-It has definitely been a sacrifice. The first week of eating clean was HARD. It's been a challenge to stick with it to but we both want to change our lives so we are in it for the long haul. 



What have you struggled with most?
-The food has been the most difficult aspect. We go out to eat with friends a lot. We haven't changed this but we are learning how to eat out. It's been cheaper though! We split meals and choose healthier options. We actually decide what we want before we go sometimes. Going to a restaurant with a plan is much easier than without. 


Has going through this together helped you stay motivated?
-Sometimes yes and no. We encourage each other all the time, but sometimes we both feel like splurging or having a cheat meal and we don't say no to each other.

Their results after ONLY 30 days! 15lbs and almost 15 inches!
